The purpose of the Fosston Area Community Fund is to provide a permanent and significant source of funding that will enrich the lives of area residents. The fund was established in 2008 and is working toward the goal of establishing a $250,000 endowment fund.
The fund operates as a component fund of the Northwest Minnesota Foundation. It is guided by a local advisory board that disperses earnings from endowed gifts, supporting charitable activities in four key areas: education and lifelong learning; arts and culture; health and wellness; and recreation and parks.
